Thu, October 19, 2006 - 2:06 AMcastaneda's books are such parables, it's hard to believe or even care who the real man the books are based on is. it's apparent to me that carlos borrowed from and bulit on phenomenology, existentialism, zen, taoism, shamanism, and other traditions and made his own stew, loosely based on some encounters with a yaqui shaman and taking psychoactive plants. -

Thu, October 19, 2006 - 4:57 AMI recognize that a lot of parts of Castaneda's books are like roman. Sometimes for me its different to know which to take which not.. by the way a little of topic, but are there other nagualism based books with practice techniques ? -
